BILLY BOB THORNTON WON’T FLY WITHOUT PSYCHIC MOM’S APPROVAL

Billy Bob Thornton comes across as a tough guy, but behind the scenes he’s a huge softy who has such a fear of flying that he consults his psychic mother, Virginia Roberta Faulkner, before every flight, Dish Nation is exclusively reporting.
And the buck doesn’t stop there — the Fargo actor asks his mom about everything in his life, including his relationship with long-time girlfriend and make-up artist Connie Angland, his four children, and his acting career.
“Billy Bob is very dependent on his mom and talks to her about every aspect of his life,” an insider told Dish.
“Through the years he’s become very reliant on her psychic abilities, and has her give readings on every little thing. Whether it be a big argument he has with Connie, problems he encounters with his children, or even acting jobs he should or shouldn’t take.
“He refuses to take an acting gig unless his mother thinks it will be successful.”
But perhaps most useful, is using his mother’s clairvoyant abilities to decide whether or not to hop a flight!
“Billy Bob calls his mom from the airport, after he checks in for a flight, to do a quick reading and make sure there won’t be any issues with the plane,” the source dished.
“He’s absolutely paranoid about flying and constantly has nightmares about being on a plane that crashes. If he can’t get his mom on the phone beforehand, he won’t take the flight!”
Thornton, 58 and Angland have been together since 2003, and they are parents to daughter Bella, 9. The actor has also been married four times in the past — most famously to Angelina Jolie from 2000-2003.
“Billy Bob’s reliance on his mom has caused a lot of problems in his relationships,” added the source.
“Luckily Connie has gotten used to it and finally accepts that he’s just a huge mama’s boy!”
