Was Bill Gates “big pimpin'” and “spending G’s” on his ex-girlfriend once a year?! Apparently so according to his resurfaced 1997 interview with Time magazine!
As part of their marriage agreement, Bill said Melinda agreed to let him have an annual weekend sleepover in the Outer Banks with his ex-girlfriend and fellow techie, Ann Winblad, Bill told the magazine. “We can play putt-putt while discussing biotechnology,” Bill continued—revealing that he even sought Ann’s approval before he married his now-estranged wife, Melinda.
Bill Gates, 65, and Melinda Gates, 56—who announced their “irretrievably broken” divorce last week in a joint statement—reportedly made plans to roll out their announcement back in March. To avoid the media mayhem, Melinda rented private island Calivigny Island for $132,000 a night for their children and their significant others. However, Bill was not invited to the family island getaway.
