Bow down to Beyoncé, Taylor Swift!
Beyoncé makes a swift climb to the top of the earnings chart, and snags the number 1 spot on the Forbes “World’s Highest Paid Women in Music” list. The Queen B brought in $105 million pretax! The money comes after the success of her Lemonade album and Formation World Tour.
Taylor Swift dropped to the number three spot bringing in $44 million after Adele’s $69 million. This makes sense considering her brief hiatus after 1989. We’ll see how her new album Reputation affects the numbers next year.
Who run the world? Beyoncé.
