This is not a drill! Beyoncé has dropped the tracklist for her upcoming album Cowboy Carter which drops this Friday, and it looks like we might be getting that “Jolene” cover after all. Just a couple of weeks ago, Dolly Parton spilled the tea on how she cleared the iconic 1973 track for Beyoncé’s eighth studio album, and it looks like the tea has been confirmed.
During this year’s Super Bowl, Beyoncé released two new songs, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and announced she would be dropping a new album which is a follow-up of her Renaissance Act i album. Shortly after, Beyoncé became the first black woman to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Country charts. She later confirmed the album will be entitled Cowboy Carter, which based on her singles will be country-music inspired.
Dish Fam, are you ready for Beyoncé’s album to drop this Friday? We sure are!
