It’s supposed to be a reality TV show about business, but Arnold Schwarzenegger’s controversial new role as the host of The Apprentice could turn into a fly on the wall look at his family life, Dish Nation is exclusively reporting.

The former California Governor is taking over Donald Trump’s longterm position on the NBC show but his plans to involve all his children — including his love child — have got producers concerned it’ll turn into ‘Meet the Schwarzeneggers.’

Donald was well known for having his son Donald Jr. and daughter Ivanka on the hit show and Arnold wants his four kids; Katherine 25, Christina, 24, Patrick, 22, Christopher, 18, with his ex-wife Maria Shriver, 59, involved as well.

But the 68-year-old’s twist is he’s got high hopes of getting his love child Joseph Baena, 17, to make an appearance as well.

“Patrick is down for it because he loves the publicity. He’d love to be in front of the camera, in whatever capacity he could,” the insider said.

“The other kids are taking a bit more convincing but have said they’d be interested in a behind-the-scenes opportunity or a guest appearance for a challenge.”

Arnold’s marriage to Maria was famously ripped apart in 2011 after it was revealed he fathered a son with his former housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

“The only sticking point is that Arnold wants Joseph to have a part in it too. He’d like to make up for the years he wasn’t there for him in a way and thinks it would be a good bonding experience with his other children,” the source added.

“The problem is, this is a show about business — not a soap opera! Producers don’t want this to become a ‘Meet the Schwarzeneggers’ and lose sight of what the show is really about.”

Although he has remained mostly silent on the subject, Arnold has recently begun speaking out and even gushed about his youngest child saying:

“He’s terrific and he totally understands the situation. So it all has worked out. It’s a very tough situation for him. It’s a very tough situation for my kids, very tough situation for my family. It was tough for everybody, but it has happened and now we have to figure it out, right?”

And it looks like Arnold might be using his new hosting gig to bring his kids closer.

“I’m sure it’s his idea of bonding but I’m Maria won’t want them involved at all. She doesn’t need the whole affair to be dredged up again,” the insider dished.

“Perhaps Arnold isn’t 100% clear on the concept of the show, or he’s just planning to mix it up and give it his own spin. Either way it looks like there will be some extra drama this year.”
