ARIANA GRANDE NEW MAN MAC MILLER GIVES PAL BIG SEAN “THE CALL”
Monday, Sep 5, 2016
By Emma Patterson Ariana Grande made her new relationship official with new man Mac Miller at the VMAs. However, Mac proved that chivalry and old fashioned manners still exist by avoiding any issues with her ex by checking in with him before them going public!
Mac reached out to her ex Big Sean to discuss his feelings for Ariana and to reveal that they were dating. He made the move as he knows that there is a still a little tension between the pair who split after in April 2015.
Friends of Mac say he wanted “no issues” with Big Sean as they have been friends for several years and even working on music together in the past. Friends say he did the respectful thing of calling to clear the air and make it known to him before the couple stepped out publicly.
“Mac wanted to be a gentleman about things and do the polite thing to explain to Sean what was going on – rather than him finding out through the media. It was a simple call where he explained his feelings and that they would soon be out in public.” One friend said, “The boys have a good relationship, so Mac was adamant that not be affected. It was no secret that there was some ill feeling in the split up and Mac didn’t want to be part of that. It is a reflection of the type of guy he is; he doesn’t want fights or feuds, but just to get on with everyone.”
Ariana wrote an essay about her break-up insisting she was fed up of being asked about the split and insisted that she needs no man by her side to keep her happy.
“I’m saying this after literally 8 years of feeling like I constantly had to have a boy by my side, after being on my own now for a few months I am realizing that that’s just not the case… I have never felt more present, grounded, and satisfied. I’ve never laughed harder or had more fun or enjoyed my life more.”
Big Sean told Entertainment Tonight: “It’s no mistakes in life — only lessons,” adding that his music will feature his feelings on the split, “Those things just make for good songs, I feel like.”
