Welp. It’s official. Jenny went around the block to the Los Angeles County Superior Court and filed for divorce from longtime love, Ben Affleck. Per TMZ, Jennifer Lopez cited April 26, 2024 as their separation date and according to the outlet, there is no prenup or settlement.
“Bennifer 2.0” made headlines after rekindling their romance in 2021—17 years after they called off their first engagement. The two got hitched on July 16, 2022 in Vegas, and had a big deep-fried southern wedding at Ben’s Georgia estate on August 20, 2022.
A source told People Magazine that, “She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken,” but reassuring that “The kids are a top priority, as they always have been.”
