Trevor Noah, the host of this year’s Grammys, isn’t happy about the award show’s decision to cancel Kanye West’s performance due to his recent antics on Instagram.
Ye recently came for Trevor after he spoke out about him harassing his now ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and her boyfriend, Pete “The Meat” Davidson. Ye was also banned from Instagram for 24 after using a racial slur directed towards Trevor. Taking a note from IG’s parent company Meta, the Grammys took matters into their own hands and canceled Kanye’s scheduled performance despite his five Grammy noms. Ouch!

Even though Ye came for Trevor, the Daily Show host isn’t happy with The Grammy’s decision to pull the Yeezy founder from the lineup. An insider told E! News that Trevor “was not offended by Kanye’s Instagram post” about him and he “never asked the Grammys to ban Kanye from performing.” He took to Twitter to clarify his stance on the matter, saying Kanye should be counseled instead of canceled.
I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye.
