ANGELINA JOLIE OUTRAGED BY RIHANNA’S HARPER’S BAZAAR ARABIA COVER

Angelina Jolie thinks pop star Rihanna needs a crash course in women’s rights, especially after appearing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.
Angelina, a UN ambassador and outspoken advocate to stop crimes against women, was outraged that the “S&M” singer didn’t address her views after posing for the glamor magazine, which is sold in a county that denies equal rights to women.
“Angelina is actually a fan of Rihanna, but she thinks she threw away a perfect opportunity to bring awareness to s very important issue,” a source close to the “Salt” star told Dish Nation. “She wasn’t upset that Rihanna posed on the cover of Arabia’s Harper’s Bazaar as much as she was that she didn’t speak out about the concerns girls and women have in Saudi Arabia and other countries with similar views. Angie thinks Rihanna could do both – grace the cover of the magazine AND enlighten people about the injustice.”
Rihanna, who usually has no qualms about posing topless for other publications, looks gorgeous and actually covered up for the July/August issue of the popular women’s magazine.
Social media reacted to Rihanna’s Saudi Arabia misstep:
“She is clueless. I’m sure she has NO idea what she is doing other than making money!”
“What a despicable sellout stunt this is! Ugh!”
“The Saudi’s would love to give big forehead lesbo RiRi a few lashes if she gets out of line.”
“Angie wants to empower celebrities like Rihanna who have a huge fan base of impressionable young women around the world,” adds the source. “She would love to have a private junket with pop stars like Rihanna, Katy Perry and Beyonce to tell them they could be sexy, but they have a responsibility to use their influential platform to educate the world about the lack of human rights for women.”
