It looks like Amanda Seales’ Club Shay Shay experience may have left a bad taste in her mouth.
Since her sit down with podcast host Shannon Sharpe, Amanda has clarified her autism claims after revealing she was “recently diagnosed” in the interview. In response to one of her viewers on Instagram Live, Amanda said she hasn’t been clinically diagnosed because at her age “you don’t need a clinical diagnosis in that sense.” She said she deflected Shannon’s question about a diagnosis because she felt pressured, interrogated, and undermined by someone who had “absolutely zero love” for her.
However, Shannon had quite a different experience and has since unpacked the interview on his Nightcap podcast with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. Sharpe denied invalidating or undermining any of Amanda’s experiences but said he was more so playing devil’s advocate as he’s done in previous interviews. Ultimately, he reiterated that Club Shay Shay is a ‘safe space” for guests, and said he enjoyed Amanda’s interview and her presence.
#DishFam, did you watch the interview, and if so, what are your thoughts?
