40-YEAR-OLD ACTRESS RACHEL MCADAMS OPENS UP ABOUT MOTHERHOOD, SAYS SHE ‘WAITED A LONG TIME’

Actress Rachel McAdams is opening up about her journey to motherhood and why she “waited a long time” to have her first child. Describing it as “the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Rachel, 40, and her boyfriend Jamie Linden, 38, welcomed their baby back in April. “It’s just how it happened. And I didn’t want to do it before it was the right time,” she dished to The Sunday Times UK. Rachel joins the ranks of many women who waited later in life to have children such as Jennifer Lopez who had twins at 38-years-old, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman and Mariah Careywho had their first children at 41, Janet Jackson at 49, and Dish Nation’svery own Porsha Williams at 37.
