Steph Curry Makes History As The First Unanimous MVP

May 10, 2016

Is Steph Curry officially the GOAT? Not to get ahead of ourselves, but what he has accomplished is truly outstanding. He has broken another record by becoming the first MVP voted UNANIMOUSLY. This has never happened in the history of the NBA.

He earned all 131 first place votes with a total of 1,310 points! In second place Kawhi Leonard received 634 points and in third place LeBron James had 631 points. This news isn’t shocking since Steph has been breaking records all season. Just last night, he broke another record by scoring 17 points in overtime to win against the Portland Trail Blazers.

After missing a few weeks due to injury, it looks like Steph is back and better than ever! Here is what he said after the big win.

“I love this game and love playing and love competing and really, really missed being out there with my teammates. To help our team get a win tonight in that kind of fashion and whatnot, that was a good feeling in that moment to be back on the floor and be playing.”

Amazing! Congrats Steph!
