DISH NATION’s Sammi Marino is part of The Heidi & Frank Show, a Los Angeles-based morning radio program that can be heard on KLOS-FM (95.5) and stars Heidi Hamilton and Frank Kramer, along with Erik Scott Smith.

After her first stint screening phone calls for KLXS-FM in Los Angeles, Sammi knew the radio industry was a perfect fit for her. She worked for numerous Los Angeles-based radio stations over the years (including KFWB-AM, KABC-AM and KKGO-FM), and eventually landed at KLOS-FM where she worked for The Mark & Brian Show until the duo retired in August, 2012. Sammi remained with the station and began working as the associate producer for The Heidi & Frank Show, and soon became part of the on-air team.

Originally from Charlton, Mass., Sammi and her family moved to Castaic, Calif. when she was 11 years-old. She attended Valencia High School where she was named MVP of her cheerleading squad before moving on to College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif., followed by courses at California State University, Fullerton. Sammi was interested in pursuing a career as a sign language interpreter before she was introduced to the radio industry.

Sammi currently resides in Valencia, Calif. with her dog, Bella (a Maltese Yorkie mix).

Her birth date is Dec. 19.
