M-I-C-K-E-Y Why did you try to scam a tourist?
A man dressed up like Mickey Mouse was charged with petty larceny by the NYPD after he allegedly tried to scam a 21-year-old tourist out of $120.
The 52-year-old was dressed as the Disney character in Times Square when he managed to get the Tennessee man to agree to pay $190 for a photo. Totally crazy but not illegal!
But a few hours later, the tourist realized the Mickey wannabe had swiped his credit card and charged him $310. Now that’s even crazier!
In less than an hour, police were able to trace the charge back to ‘Mickey.’ It’s a small world after all.
The man was charged with petty larceny, given a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to be in court on April 10th.
Not exactly the Disney ending he was expecting.
