The level of star power in the stadium only gives Lebron James more power on the court!
Lebron James was the subject of a study done by The Undefeated where they compared his game stats to games when celebrities were sitting courtside to see if there was any correlation between their presence and his performance.
Lebron’s career average is 27.1 points per game (PPG) and this number does increase when celebrities are present. Some celebrities even lead Lebron to score a higher PPG than other celebrities. The top eight celebrities that affect Lebron’s performance in order from highest to lowest PPG average are: Diddy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Beyoncé (solo), Rihanna, Jay-Z (solo), Drake, Jack Nicholson and Usher.
