KANYE WEST NOT INVITED TO PERFORM AT TRUMP’S INAUGURATIONJanuary 18, 2017
How could you be so heartless?
Even after Kanye West gave Donald Trump a friendly visit to discuss what they called ‘multicultural issues,’ the rapper will NOT be invited to perform at the presidential inauguration. Could this have been a mistake? No.
Despite West and Trump’s “friendship,” Tom Barrack, (the chair of Trump’s presidential inaugural committee) told CNN that West was simply not asked.
“We haven’t asked him… He considers himself a friend of the President – Elect, but it’s not the venue…” He went on to say that the venue they had prepared was filled out, was perfect and “traditionally American.”
Trump’s team has managed to round up the following performers:
The “‘Make America Great Again!’ Welcome Celebration” will take place Thursday, January 19th and will be broadcast live to the nation from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. It will feature historic remarks from President-elect Trump and special appearances from Toby Keith, Jon Voight, Jennifer Holliday, DJ Ravidrums, The Piano Guys, Tim Rushlow (“Little Texas”), Larry Stewart (“Restless Heart”), Marty Roe (“Diamond Rio”), Lee Greenwood, and 3 Doors Down. Information for free public events can be found at 58PIC2017.org
