EXCLUSIVE: JUSTIN BIEBER WANTS TO SAVE SCOTT DISICK WITH RELIGIONSeptember 29, 2017
By Brodie Cooper
The Biebs’ concern comes as he is close to 19-year-old Sofia Richie, who Scott, 34, is currently dating.
The Canadian pop star is also very close to Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian, who has expressed concerns about the father of her children.
Through Sofia and Kourtney, Justin has offered help and wants to bring Scott to a service at his LA Hillsong Church or to hang out privately with his pastors.
A friend of the pair said:
“Justin has a new outlook on life, and that is to be positive in all aspects of his existence. He is close to Sofia and would hate seeing her get hurt or caught up in Scott’s emotional problems. On top of that he has heard some of the horror stories that Kourtney has revealed from their time together. But rather than shy away from that or ward Sofia off, Justin is welcoming Scott into his life. He feels that no matter how bad things may seem, the church is a place of redemption and hope. He feels that Hillsong’s pastors and congregation offer a firm foundation place in his life and some church time could help him immensely.”
The source added:
“Justin feels that his life has changed for the better thanks to the support of pastor Carl Lentz, and that other people can experience the same benefits.”
Justin, 23, was a shoulder to lean on for Kourtney when she broke it off with Scott in 2015.
Despite rumors of a romance, the “Sorry” singer hung out with the reality star to keep her spirits up after the heartbreaking split.
That same year Scott entered drug and alcohol rehab, and many reports since have detailed how he is continuing to battle those issues.
In 2014, KUWTK cameras caught him drinking beer, taking shots and neck a bottle of pills. Later Kourtney feared how he almost “overdosed” on the substances.
Earlier this year Justin, following cancelling the remainder of his Purpose world tour, wrote an emotional letter about his mental health.
Aides say he had consulted Pastor Carl about going public to describe his demons.
“I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted toward people and the way I treated them! I let bitterness, jealousy and fear run my life!!!!I am extremely blessed to have people in the past few years help me build my character back up reminding me of who I am and who I want to be!!!”
