JAY-Z SAYS CRYING IS THE STRONGEST THING A MAN CAN DO

December 4, 2017

Jay-Z admits crying can help get that “Dirt Off Your Shoulder!”

Jay-Z’s very telling New York Times interview continues to make headlines. From opening up his marriage to Beyoncé to his relationship with frenemy Kanye West, we got to know Jay in a whole new way.

When Jay was addressing his infidelity in his marriage to Beyonce, he opened up about why he may have turned to Becky(s) with the good hair to cope. His tough attitude and upbringing closed him off to real connections.

“You have to survive. So you go into survival mode, and when you go into survival mode what happen? You shut down all emotions. So even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can’t connect. In my case, like it’s, it’s deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity…”

Jay-Z, who turns 48 today, has grown up physically and emotionally.

“The strongest thing a man can do is cry. To expose your feelings, to be vulnerable in front of the world. That’s real strength. You know, you feel like you gotta be this guarded person. That’s not real. It’s fake.”

Do you agree with Jay on this?
