JADA PINKETT SMITH SLAMS TUPAC BIOPIC ‘ALL EYEZ ON ME’June 16, 2017
In a series of tweets, the 45-year-old voiced her issues with the portrayal of her relationship with Tupac in the new film All Eyez On Me.
“Forgive me … my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth,” began her tirade. “Pac never read me that poem. I didn’t know that poem existed until it was printed in his book.”
She continued to call out the film’s inaccuracies.

“Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn’t to pursue his career. I’ve never been to any of Pac’s shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage.”
Jada summarized her feelings by adding: “The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful.”
But her critique wasn’t all bad as she absolved the film’s cast (Kat Graham and Demetrius Shipp Jr.) of having anything to do with the film’s storyline.
“Thank you for bringing so much heart and spirit to your roles,” the Gotham star tweeted to the actors. “You both did a beautiful job with what you were given. Thank you, both.”
All Eyez on Me is in theaters now and currently has a 27% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Today would have been Tupac’s 46th birthday.
