FEEL GOOD FRIDAY: ‘OPERATION MAX’ HELPS TRAIN SERVICE DOGSFebruary 3, 2017
Put your hands and paws together for the cutest Golden Retriever puppy ever… Max!
‘Good Day Atlanta’ anchor Constance Jones visited us along with Max to dish on FOX 5 Atlanta’s new project “Operation Max.”
This project is in partnership with the non-profit Canine Assistants and is set to train around 75-100 dogs to become service dogs. The main goal is to prepare these dogs to give support to veterans and people with disabilities.
Max is currently in the care of the FOX 5 team and is staying at home with different members of the staff. He is joining them at work at the station and making guest appearances! That must be RUFF!
He will learn how to open doors, turn lights on/off, get objects and help when needed.
Max is learning how to answer “yes” by tapping with his nose. This was during a commercial break this morning with his @canineassistant instructor, Kristen. He has an amazing work ethic! #OperationMax #futureservicedog #fox5max #onesmartdog #puppiesofinstagram #canineassistants (Just wait for the tail wag at the end 😍)
