CHLOE X HALLE WON THE SUPER BOWL WITH THEIR ‘AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL’ PERFORMANCEFebruary 4, 2019
Amidst controversy surrounding the absence of Atlanta-based performers at last night’s Super Bowl, ATL natives Chloe x Halle represented with a powerful performance of “America the Beautiful” that the internet was absolutely here for.
Standing true in the stylistic approach that made them viral sensations and Beyonce’s mentees, the grammy-nominated sister duo stood centerfield and commanded the world’s attention with melodic chords married in perfect harmony.
Chloe x Halle weren’t the only ATL performers on the Super Bowl’s roster as Grammy-winner Gladys Knight graced us with a classic rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” Outkast’s Big Boi turned it up a notch when he pulled up in a Caddy and performed hits like “Kryptonite” and “I Like The Way You Move.”
