WE CELEBRATE NATIONAL BURGER DAY WITH A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
August 31, 2017
Today we are celebrating National Burger Day with our Atlanta crew! While hamburgers are most of peoples’ favorite food, many don’t know the history of these delicious beef sandwiches. The inspiration started in Hamburg, Germany during the 19th century, where beef from cows was minced with garlic, onions, salt, and pepper; later formed into patties. These were called Hamburg steaks and were considered gourmet! However, those didn’t include the bread. Finally, when German immigrants came to America, they introduced us to the Hamburg steak during the Industrial Revolution. Because the patties were difficult to eat, a cook decided to place them between two slices of bread.
Check out the video and see how sexy our hosts get when they eat their burgers… Warning: You will get hungry!
