BIG BOI AND TRAVIS SCOTT ADDED TO THE SUPER BOWL’S HALFTIME SHOW LINEUPJanuary 14, 2019
It looks like the Super Bowl halftime show finally added some southern flavor to the mix!
One-half of Outkast, Big Boi, and Travis Scott are reportedly confirmed to join Maroon 5 for this year’s halftime performance. The two rappers were added to the roster amidst the NFL’s controversial choice to not include Atlanta-based artists in the line-up, despite the event taking place in the ATL. Cardi B, Rihanna and a few other artistskindly declined the NFL’s invitation and instead stood in solidarity with former San Francisco 49’ers Colin Kaepernick. And although Jay-Z failed to stop Travis Scott from joining the performance, the Astroworld rapper only agreed to perform if the NFL donated to a social justice organization, per CBS News.
