2019 ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME NOMS—WILL LL COOL J, CHAKA KHAN OR JANET JACKSON FINALLY GET INDUCTED?

October 9, 2018

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class of 2019 has been announced, but will your fan favorites finally make the cut this year? LL Cool J has been on the ballot five times and was last year’s only hip-hop nominee. Chaka Khan follows with four noms (her 3rd with Rufus, 1 solo) and Janet Jackson with her second. However, none of them have been officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame despite their musical accolades, influence and previous noms. Perhaps this will be their lucky year? We’ll see!

A few first-timers include Def Leppard, DevoStevie Nicks, John Prine and Todd Rundgren. They will be joined by Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead, The Zombies and more. You can cast your vote starting today through December 9th at rockhall.com. Inductees will be announced in December 2018 with an official ceremony to follow on March 29, 2019 at The Barclays Center.  Tune in above to see who our Dish Nation hosts think should be inducted!
